Austin

SOUTHWEST

The River City

People are drawn to the Texas capital’s music, outdoor spaces and cultural institutions. Austin was established along the Colorado River on the edge of the Hill Country in 1839. Originally named “Waterloo,” Austin remains rich in history.

Named the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin has a plethora of music venues and local bands. The metro area is home to banner music festivals like Austin City Limits, a two-weekend-long fall event. In addition, Austin is home to more than 37 breweries. A must stop on any craft beer tour.

Seasonal

Seasonal Beers

A seasonal beer is a beer that is typically brewed during or for a particular season, holiday or festival period. Many breweries and microbreweries produce seasonal beers. Seasonal beers may be produced when fresh ingredients are available during various seasons, per climatic conditions during the time of the year, and also as a tradition such as holidays, festivals and events. Check out the website of your favorite brewery to see what seasonal beers are on tap.
